Sunday Post: Book Haul

Hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer
Hello World. This is what has been going on in my part of town.

Hopefully everyone was able to enjoy a long 4th of July weekend. Lucky for me I work four ten hour days in the summer so I normally have Fridays off so it was a  4 day weekend for me. Not uneventful of course because my kids have knack for getting sick. My daughter woke up on the 4th covered head to toe in hives. Apparently she was allergic to something and then starts the detective work of figuring out what. I had hives myself as a kid but I don't really remember them. It's like chicken pox (which I don't think kids get anymore either), when your body is done fighting the allergin you can still have the visible hives for days, even weeks and they travel around your body. So ya freaky and now my health lesson is done.

So what happened on the blog last week;

Next week the blog is going to be hoppin' because I have a ton of Blog Tours/ Reviews. I might throw some other reviews in and other things during the week but this the actual scheduled things.

Monday: Rush Book Blitz
Tuesday: Stripped

So my book haul I'm pretty excited about because my friend went to ALA. I have no idea why I didn't go, it was stupid on my part. I also forgot to remind her stop by Spencer Hill Press to get a copy of Frigid. Argh. It's okay though I can wait. I just wanted a physical copy because it's easier not to fight my kids for my nook. I also was in B&N and walking by the shelves when I saw Shadow of the Mark which I'm pretty sure doesn't get released until the 9th. So I snatched that up.

Physical Books:

Shadow of the Mark by Leigh Fallon

Tumble and Fall ARC by Alexandra Coutts (ALA)

These Broken Stars ARC by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner (ALA)

Venom by Fiona Paul (I won this during BEA Armchair)

Netgalley:
