If We Were Having Coffee....

So a week ago maybe it's two weeks now I saw that Jamie on Perpetual Page-Turner  did a If We Were Having Coffee Post. I love her blog if you haven't stopped over there. Anyway she was originally inspired to do it by Ashley who runs Your Super Awesome Life. It's basically a great way to take break from normal blog post and catch up on the person behind the blog. You know take a coffee break. Since it's been a while since I've done a real Sunday update I figured I would do one of these.

If We Were Having Coffee....
I would tell you I've been overwhelmed by mom stuff. My husband works anywhere from 45-60 hours a week. So I pretend that he travels for work because I honestly don't see him during the week. He's an Executive Producer for one of our glorious Chicago News stations so I know he works hard but working Full-time and being an almost single mom at night is hard work. I don't know how actual single moms do it. Hats off to all of them in the world.

If We Were Having Coffee....
My best friend in San Francisco sent me some pretty awesome kick butt shoes.
Wonder Woman Converse!! Who doesn't want Wonder Woman Converse? (if you are someone who doesn't, don't tell me I don't want to know. lol)

If We Were Having Coffee....
I've decided to start knitting. The idea of the project went a lot better than the actual doing of the project. I was hoping to post some of my trials and tribulations of it. It took me an hour to figure out how to cast off. I might need someone to actually teach me as oppose to teaching myself.

If We Were Having Coffee....
I was in a reading slump. A really bad one but I'm back and badder than ever. Ha ha. I've been reading pretty fast but I also attribute that to the books I've been reading. I also snagged myself a copy of the 50th anniversary of The Book of Three by Lloyd Alexander. Which was one of my absolute favorite Fantasy Series as a kid.

If We Were Having Coffee....
I would tell you I'm obsessed with Caramel Brulee drinks and I need to stop drinking them because I can only imagine how many calories they are.

If We Were Having Coffee....
I would say I hope you have a great rest of your day!
