ABE Award

In Illinois they have something the ISLMA (Illinois School Library Media Association) has a list of books they put out and then if your school registers the kids are able to vote for their favorite book. A lot of times the kids get extra credit in class if they read the books and then do a book talk. Can you imagine getting extra credit for some of these books. I don't remember them doing this when I was in high school. So I thought the list was pretty interesting for next year (just released). Some great books on the list. I remember The Hunger Games and City of Bones winning a few years back. The winner for this year will be announced on the 20th.
