Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a list feature that is hosted and created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they give you a different question or topic where you can answer by listing your top ten choices.

This week’s topic is: Top Ten Favorite Book Covers

(I loved this topic I felt like I couldn't resist participating)

Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake

I love photos like this. Where everything is black and white except for one color. It really makes it stand out. I loved the creepyness of this cover.
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

I would go to the store and stare at this cover. I have no idea why it kept drawing me to it. I think it's the fact that the picture almost looks like two things. Before I read the book and knew it was circus tents it almost looked like a hand holding a doll. It kind of fits with the plot of the book.
 Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood

I like how the flowers on this cover almost look 3-D like they are popping out of it. Just the colors in general are great.

Everneath by Brodi Ashton

So many reasons I love this cover. It's probably my number one. While I was reading it sometimes I would close the book and just look at it. The flowing dress, the colors and the font. Everything just matches so well with it.
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

I love the colors of this cover and the onion domes. It's hard not to be attracted to it, it is so mysterious.

Illuminate by Aimee Agresti

I like how it looks like little light bulbs around the font and it also kind of looks like an angle wing behind her in the shadow.

Reached by Ally Condie

I've like all the covers in the Matched series. I thought the first one was my favorite until this one came out. There is something strong about this cover that draws me to it. Like she is going to kick some serious butt if you try to mess with her.

Torn by Amanda Hocking

It's a tie for me between this cover and the cover for the third book. I like how your eye is drawn to her in the center but there is still so much going on everywhere else. She is the center of the world here.

Cat O'Nine Tails by Patricia Leever

I really like pirates and pirate stories. So this cover drew me in right away. Plus I just think the girl is really pretty. In a more simplistic way. The whole eerie pirate ship in the background definitely adds to it.

The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa

Honestly has nothing to do with anything except that I love Ash in these books. I think the guy in the cover is perfect for the part.
