My Review:

Holy smokes Batman, talk about your steamy books. Oh I loved this book. It was the kind of book that when I HAD to put it down I was thinking about the next time I could pick it up. It was instant love between the characters and I. I couldn't help but like every single one, even the crazies! Plus the plot, oh what a great story line. Just thinking about it makes me want to reread it,so yes welcome to my gushy love review.

The prologue was such a great touch for the book. We see the characters meet five years previous to the current encounter. What a great idea and it totally sets the scene. Not only that I love that the prologue kind of sheds a little player light on Cillian. He doesn't come across as some perfect guy that how could Renner leave his memory behind.

Flash forward five years and we are into our story. Renner has to flee to Ireland after some really unfortunate events happen to her. We don’t know what they are right away but they come out in time over the book and you really feel bad for Renner. She comes off as overly conservative and a little bit of a pushover at first but I think there is something fierce under her exterior.

Cillian the guarded sexy Irish man. Ya who wouldn’t fall for him. I didn’t even think I liked him at first, well I don’t know. I just thought he was kind of arrogant and I wanted Renner to have the upper hand. I loved Cillian through the book, he makes some idiotic decisions but in the grand scheme of things he’s very hot...I mean sweet.

Talk about great chemistry between the two characters. It was so well written and believable I felt myself sucked in every time the two interacted.

I liked all the side characters and the obstacles they had to overcome. I really liked the meat of the story was Renner and Cillian getting together slowly. How it wasn’t just she fell into his arms and skipped off down the lane. I even liked the complication of Maeve, even though I wanted to smack that girl. Everything just fit so well in the book and it flowed easily.

It’s always harder for me to write reviews about books I love and this is one of those book. I find myself simply just gushing, which is what I want to do. I really loved this book and even though I haven’t read the first three I’m thinking I need to go back and do so. I absolutely want to read the next book.
