Feature and Follow

Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop that is designed to provide some much-appreciated exposure to the bloggers participating, and to expand their following. Hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read, each of whom feature a chosen blog for the week, it's an interesting way to get to know one another.

Q: Today’s is the US’ Independence Day. Share your favorite book with a war in it, or an overthrow of the government.

So many dystopia novels are about overthrowing the government that formed after the big event that devastated the planet. Divergent comes to mind but it's interesting because it's about a bad group trying to overthrow the government more so then a good group getting rid of a really bad government. I also think about The Girl of Fire and Thorns because that has a lot of war action and I love that series.

  1. I haven't read Girl of Fire and Thorns yet but I do have the audio book. I am determined to read it sometime this year. My choice was Game of Thrones by George RR Martin.
