Sunday Post: Book Haul

Hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer

It feels like it's been too long since I've done one of these. I meant to do my BEA recap last Sunday but I've just been so busy. Sometimes life gets in the way of blogging.

I hope you are doing something special for Father's Day! My daughter was sick yesterday/last night so I'm the one who stayed up with her lol. So that's my gift to my husband. My dad unfortunately is in Michigan so I won't see him today.

Hopefully if you haven't made it to the theater see The Fault in Our Stars I hope you do. I thought it was well done. It's a difficult topic for me because when I read the book my dad was going through a battle with Kidney cancer. It has been in remission for a year (it had spread to his lymph nodes) but oddly enough when I went to see the movie they have found two new lumps and he just had a CT scan on Friday. Hopefully it's nothing (they have found benign lumps before) but I'm afraid to even ask about the results or when he's getting them.

So enough of that. Let's talk about what's been going on here in this little corner of the world.

#Scandal still has a giveaway open

A got a couple old Arcs from the school library. It's clean out at the end of the year. They are also getting rid of some of their older books to make room for new ones.

Lailah Arc for a blog tour, Graduation Day Arc I won, City of Heavenly Fire I bought. A cool The One keychain.   signed bookmark, bookplate for my book.

My BEA book haul I will put on my recap this week and I will put my digital arcs next week. I have to go chase a 3 year old and try to explain why you can't run around after being sick......

  2. At least your father is under medical surveillance, if there's anything worth spotting, they'll do it quickly, it will be less dangerous for him - but I do understand your concern :) Have a great reading week !
