Feature and Follow

Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop that is designed to provide some much-appreciated exposure to the bloggers participating, and to expand their following. Hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read, each of whom feature a chosen blog for the week, it's an interesting way to get to know one another.

If you would like to follow me right now you can do so by GFC, Twitter or Linky (right side).

Q: What is one book that you would be nervous to see a movie adaption of because you think the movie could never live up to the book?

A. I feel like I feel this way about all movies that come out that are from books. It's so hard to condense down a book into a movie. Even though I liked the Hunger Games movie I noticed all the things that they had left out but I understood they had to.

  1. That's true. Anytime they adapt the book there will be compromises made.

  2. It is hard to condense down a book into a movie; to get all the most important parts showcased. Things always get left out.

I haven't seen the Hunger Games movie.

  3. My answer was about close to the same. I feel that way as well. Even though I still do enjoy seeing them turned into movies to see what they do with them. But it is really nerve racking at times. Love your answer.

  4. Hey, following back! Thanks for stopping by! I agree that any book getting turned into a movie makes me somewhat nervous. However, sometimes I'm hopeful that the movie will be good. I think it depends on how it plays out in my head when I read it.

  7. I was so afraid to see the Hunger Games movie, but I think they did a great job on it. It does drive me a little nuts to see the things that get left out of movies from books, but I understand why they do it. Im a new follower through GFC and linky.

  8. Hopping through. I think it's hard to do any book justice. I'm seeing Hunger Games tomorrow. I really hope I like it.

  9. Hopping through! Yes, it's pretty much impossible to do books and their readers justice. We create the world, too, when we read books and heck, quite everything of that goes lost in translation. :(
